I have been regularly reading and occasionally commenting on R P Rajanayahem's blog.

Recently I had commented on his post on not writing about A R Rahman and his OSCAR achievement.... காப்பீடு மூலம் நிகழும் கட்டுடைப்பு

He has replied with this post... “My concern is always with the not so brilliant , not so successful people.”

Mr R P Rajanayahem, Befitting reply to my concern.

Nice to know the depth in the sentence...

ஏ ஆர் ரஹ்மானுக்கு "Achievement Depression" என்ற மன அழுத்த வியாதி வந்து விடக்கூடாது என்று மட்டும் நான் சொல்லவிரும்புகிறேன் ! அளவுக்கு மீறி வெற்றிகளை ரஹ்மான் பார்த்து விட்டார் !! இனியும் பார்க்கபோகிறார் .

Oscar awards for A R Rahman, Gulzar and Resul Pookutty

It is nice and heartening to know about three Indians getting Oscar awards for A R Rahman, Gulzar and Resul Pookutty... (did you note the religion of all the 3 winners? conspicuously...)

Smile Pinki a documentary on Indian Upper Lip Cleft theme, has also won a documentary award.

Earlier in Elizabeth an Indian lady got in the fashion/dress work. Satyajit Ray too got for lifetime achievement.

Now Feb 23rd, 2009 is a memorable moment.

India has become a good open market, and world can explore now.

Tourists would flow in.

Indians would get much needed recognition abroad. We are not snake charmers or villagers!
